Gramma. Nancy's Animal Hats
I love the patterns in the book. They are great for any skill level because they take a very basic hat and expand in order to create the animal hat. This book has several different techniques to learn which is something I enjoy, gets me to go past my current level and learn something new while becoming more experienced. I look forward to making several of the hats and booties for family and friends.

Knitting block by block
This book has a lot of ideas that allow you to create your own style or use one of her patterns for putting the blocks together. The best part of the book is that if you want to have a smaller project going while working on a longer project this book gives you that. Its great for beginners all the way to advanced knitters and if you are looking to learn something new this books for you. I look forward to trying out the different stitches and creating some of the items in the book.

Draw-A-Saurus
This book is not only about teaching how to draw dinosaurs but it also talks about the dinosaurs and acts more like an interactive book! My oldest who is 9 just started getting into drawing and he loves this book. The pictures are great and the step by step instructions are easy to follow. Looking forward to many sketchs and pictures in the near future!

Knockout Knits
I am so excited about this book. It has very detailed diagrams and teaches you techniques and different stitches, along with how to read diagrams. Each section starts with a beginner pattern and then builds to Intermediate/advanced. Ive been knitting for years but have gotten bored with straight knit/purl hats/scarves, this book is giving me the tools in order to expand my skill set and makes some really beautiful items. I look forward to knitting through the book, there is only a few items I don't have any desire to make which is opposite of other pattern books where I only find a couple of patterns in the book I would actually make. The pictures in this book are beautiful and the way it was written I feel like Im sitting across from the author as she teaches me. I recommend this book to anyone whose looking to add to their knitting skill set and a new challenge!
